Refund & Billing Policy
Last Updated: August 12, 2026
This Refund & Billing Policy explains how payments, subscriptions, billing, cancellations, and refunds are handled for VitalSpark by Ferdie (“VitalSpark,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This policy applies to paid features, subscriptions, or digital purchases offered through the VitalSpark mobile application, web application, or related services when such paid functionality becomes available.
VitalSpark version 1.0 is intended to launch with free access. Paid plans or premium features displayed as Coming Soon are not currently available for purchase unless expressly stated otherwise.
This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, EULA, and applicable application-store terms.
1. Current Free Access
VitalSpark version 1.0 is intended to launch with free access.
At launch:
- Users are not required to purchase a paid subscription to use the available free features.
- Paid Pro, Elite, Premium, or other subscription plans may be shown as Coming Soon.
- Displaying a future paid plan does not mean that the plan is available for purchase.
- Users will not be charged for a paid VitalSpark plan unless they knowingly complete an authorized purchase after paid services become available.
If the billing model changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.
2. Future Paid Plans
VitalSpark may introduce paid subscriptions, premium plans, one-time digital purchases, or other paid services in the future.
Paid plans may include additional features, programs, tools, content, or services.
Before completing a purchase, users should be shown applicable information such as:
- Price.
- Billing frequency.
- Subscription duration.
- Renewal terms.
- Included features.
- Trial terms, if any.
- Cancellation information.
- Applicable taxes or fees where required.
The specific terms displayed at the time of purchase will form part of the applicable transaction.
3. Payment Processing
Depending on the platform and type of purchase, payments may be processed by:
- Apple App Store.
- Google Play.
- Stripe.
- Another approved payment provider.
VitalSpark may not directly receive or store complete payment-card details when transactions are processed by a third-party payment provider.
Payment providers may independently process information such as:
- Payment method.
- Billing address.
- Transaction details.
- Tax information.
- Store account information.
Their own terms and privacy policies may apply.
4. Apple App Store Purchases
Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple.
Apple controls billing, payment authorization, transaction processing, and applicable refund decisions for App Store purchases.
Users seeking a refund for an Apple App Store transaction generally must use Apple’s refund or customer-support process.
VitalSpark cannot guarantee that Apple will approve a refund request.
Any refund approved by Apple is subject to Apple’s rules, procedures, eligibility requirements, and applicable law.
5. Google Play Purchases
Purchases made through Google Play are processed through Google’s billing systems where required.
Google Play may manage:
- Payment authorization.
- Subscription billing.
- Renewals.
- Cancellations.
- Refund eligibility.
- Transaction records.
Refunds may be issued by Google Play, VitalSpark where permitted, or as otherwise required by applicable law.
Users should follow the refund and subscription-management options provided through Google Play for purchases made through that platform.
6. Website or Direct Purchases
If VitalSpark offers direct purchases through the website in the future, such payments may be processed through an approved payment provider such as Stripe.
Any direct purchase will be subject to:
- The terms displayed at checkout.
- This Refund & Billing Policy.
- Applicable payment-provider terms.
- Applicable consumer-protection laws.
Additional refund rules may be provided for specific products or services.
7. Subscription Renewal
If VitalSpark offers auto-renewing subscriptions, the subscription may automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
The renewal price and billing period will be disclosed through the applicable purchase platform.
Users are responsible for managing their subscriptions through the platform where the purchase was made.
For example:
- Apple subscriptions may need to be managed through Apple account subscription settings.
- Google Play subscriptions may need to be managed through Google Play subscription settings.
VitalSpark cannot guarantee cancellation of an externally managed subscription solely because a user contacts VitalSpark support.
8. Cancellation
Users may cancel a subscription at any time through the applicable purchasing platform, subject to that platform’s rules.
Cancellation generally prevents future renewals.
Cancellation does not necessarily result in an automatic refund for the current billing period.
Depending on the payment provider, the user may continue to have access to paid features until the end of the current paid billing period.
Specific cancellation behavior is governed by the applicable purchase platform.
9. Refund Requests
Refund eligibility depends on:
- The platform where the purchase was made.
- The type of purchase.
- The date of purchase.
- Applicable platform rules.
- Applicable consumer-protection laws.
- The circumstances of the request.
VitalSpark does not guarantee refunds for:
- Partially used subscription periods.
- Failure to cancel before renewal.
- Changes of mind.
- Failure to use paid features.
- Device incompatibility caused by unsupported devices.
- User error.
However, nothing in this policy limits refund rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Apple Refund Requests
For purchases made through Apple, users should request refunds through Apple’s applicable refund process.
Apple evaluates refund requests independently.
VitalSpark may provide customer support or transaction information when appropriate, but Apple may retain final control over the refund decision for purchases processed through the App Store.
11. Google Play Refund Requests
For Google Play purchases, users may request a refund through Google Play where available.
VitalSpark may also have the ability to issue full or partial refunds through Google Play’s developer tools where permitted.
Refund decisions remain subject to applicable Google Play policies, transaction status, and legal requirements.
12. Duplicate or Unauthorized Charges
If you believe you were charged more than once for the same transaction or that a transaction was unauthorized, contact us promptly.
For VitalSpark support:
payments@vitalsparkbyferdie.com
You may also need to contact the payment provider or application store where the transaction occurred.
We may request limited transaction information necessary to investigate the issue.
Please do not send complete payment-card numbers through email or public support forms.
13. Failed Payments
If a subscription payment fails, the applicable payment provider may:
- Retry the payment.
- Suspend paid access.
- Place the subscription into a billing-recovery period.
- Cancel the subscription.
- Request an updated payment method.
VitalSpark may adjust access to paid features based on the subscription status reported by the applicable payment provider.
14. Trials and Promotional Offers
VitalSpark may offer free trials, discounts, promotional pricing, or introductory offers in the future.
Offer terms may vary by:
- User.
- Platform.
- Region.
- Subscription tier.
- Promotional campaign.
The terms displayed when the offer is accepted will apply.
If a trial automatically converts into a paid subscription, the renewal terms and applicable price should be disclosed before the user completes enrollment.
15. Price Changes
VitalSpark may change the price of paid plans or services in the future.
Where required, users will receive notice of price changes through the applicable purchasing platform or VitalSpark.
Existing subscribers may be subject to platform-specific rules regarding price changes, consent, or renewal.
16. Taxes
Prices may be subject to applicable taxes, duties, fees, or similar government charges.
Application stores or payment providers may calculate and collect taxes depending on the user’s location and applicable law.
VitalSpark is not responsible for taxes independently calculated or collected by third-party payment platforms.
17. Account Deletion and Billing
Deleting a VitalSpark account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another external platform.
Users should cancel any active subscription through the platform where the subscription was purchased before deleting their VitalSpark account.
Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions unless expressly stated otherwise.
For account deletion information, visit: https://vitalsparkbyferdie.com/account-deletion/
and review the Account Deletion Policy.
18. Loss of Access After Refund
If a refund is issued for a paid VitalSpark product or subscription, access to the related paid features may be removed immediately or at another time determined by the applicable payment platform.
A refunded purchase does not create a continuing entitlement to paid content or services.
19. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you dispute a transaction directly with your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or application store, the applicable provider may reverse or suspend the transaction.
VitalSpark may temporarily restrict access to paid features while a payment dispute or chargeback is being investigated.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account restrictions where permitted by law.
20. Billing Support
For questions about VitalSpark billing, subscriptions, or transactions, contact:
payments@vitalsparkbyferdie.com
For general support:
support@vitalsparkbyferdie.com
If the transaction was processed through Apple or Google Play, we may direct you to the applicable store for actions that only that platform can perform.
21. Records and Receipts
Receipts for application-store purchases are generally provided by the applicable store.
VitalSpark may maintain limited transaction or subscription records where necessary to:
- Provide access to purchased services.
- Provide customer support.
- Prevent fraud.
- Resolve disputes.
- Comply with legal or accounting obligations.
Billing records are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
22. No Guarantee of Future Paid Features
Descriptions of upcoming Pro, Elite, Premium, or similar paid plans are provided for informational purposes.
Features, prices, names, launch dates, and availability may change before release.
Displaying a future feature or pricing tier does not create an obligation for VitalSpark to release that product or feature.
23. Changes to This Policy
VitalSpark may update this Refund & Billing Policy to reflect changes in:
- Pricing.
- Subscription plans.
- Payment providers.
- App-store requirements.
- Refund processes.
- Applicable laws.
- VitalSpark services.
When changes are made, the Last Updated date at the top of this policy will be revised.
Where required, additional notice may be provided.
